In March of 1998 my husband and I were looking at bankruptcy. We had bought a small manufacturing firm the year before and the previous owner had alienated and taken advantage of his customers, so that when we took over we were faced with the task of trying to win them back. Nothing we did seemed to make any difference and as a last resort, I called Dr. West who had been recommended by a friend. I had never heard of Feng Shui, and my husband (the world's greatest skeptic) had no desire to look into it. After the first visit, we followed Dr. Wests instructions as best we could. Business suddenly picked up and we realized that we could take a chance and move closer to home. This time we set our manufacturing facility up according to Roger's suggestions and more importantly, we got rid of a lot of junk and improved our "chi". Within two months we doubled what we had made the prior year. But this is what really removed our last doubts. Dr. West was looking at Nick's office and said (almost in an offhand way) "You'll need to change the direction of Nick's Desk after February 5th, If you can move it across the room it would be much better." Well, I put it off and February rolled around. On the morning of February 12th, we came to work to find the window behind Nick's desk had been shattered and his laptop computer was stolen. Nothing like this had happened before in this industrial complex, and nothing like it has happened since. All our business records and formulas for our mixes were on that computer, so it was quite a blow. I moved the desk the next day. From then on, when Dr. West said "do this" we did it. In 2002 he suggested a tree be planted in certain spot on a certain day. It was good for wealth, he said. We got home from work late that day, but we hooked up a spotlight and started digging. A few days later I was passing our fax machine when I noticed a purchase order from one of our customers. I thought it was a typo. It was three times larger than any purchase order we had ever received. That year we paid off every creditor, started remodeling our house, and I got a new car.

All in all, it's been an interesting process. I have had quite a few adventures with our koi pond (which I love), I have educated my landscaper and the general contractor who remodeled the house learned to leave the Pi Yao alone.

Hi Dr. West,

I hope you don't mind if I ramble on about the many different results we have gotten since you did the Feng Shui walk threw in our house last May.
First of all, you saw the bedroom was not good for female health and specifically in the abdominal region. You didn't know at that time, that I had been suffering from a quite serious digestive/endocrine disorder. It was definitely eye opening to my husband and I to hear that my health issue was possibly being aggravated in the bedroom. First you suggested removing the black lamp shade from the bedroom because it represents death and funeral. You also suggested placing a saltwater cure next to my bed .

I did everything you said at the time you suggested. One week after I remedied the bedroom, I got a clear diagnosis about my ailment from a new doctor. I can't tell you how important that was since I had gone to a dozen doctors with wrong or misdiagnosis for a year.

With that new information, I have been able to focus on specific natural health remedies which have made my condition much better.

Then, a month ago, with the help of an interior designer, I redecorated the bedroom. I started feeling sick again and couldn't understand why. You told me that the vase with bamboo stalks that I placed in the room must go because the tall stalks resemble a fire element and this can 'fire-up' my health condition. Like a light switch, I literally felt the energy in the room shift when I removed them. I slept great that night and have been feeling better again. This was my most amazing direct experience of the power of Feng Shui.

Then, regarding money, you suggested water and eight red flowers in the entrance region of the home to help my husband with his struggling business. My husband, a skeptic about Feng Shui, saw how quickly his business started to get back into a positive cash flow. Every week he's been getting more clients and more money coming in.

One last thing. Exactly one week after your consultation, we got a knock at our front door from a neighbor who wanted to buy our houses at full price. Our house is not even on the market! In my husband's eloquent words, 'this Feng Shui sh..t really works!'

First, we'd like to thank you for visiting us and for giving us remedies on our questions and worries.

For the last two days after you came and after we put the remedy that you advised for my daughter's room - i don't know and I can't explain it to myself.

Dear Dr. West:
We want to thank you for all your feng shui advice over the years especially given our recent situation. As you know we did everything you said, especially when you told us when to "cause a big commotion" where and when. We put up the water feature and as you know we received a million dollar account. Then, to our horror, our fountain was stolen! We were shocked even more when we were told our biggest account ever decided to "change their focus", we lost that account. We called you immediately, did exactly what you told us, new fountain, at the exact time and place, got an order even bigger than the one we lost.

My sister and I inherited our childhood home, a cute little place in a nice neighborhood. At first undecided on whether to keep the place or sell we rented it out while we thought about it. It wasn't long before we realized we did not care to be landlords so the tenant moved on and the house went up for sale. It was in good shape, in a good area and fairly priced. Our agent told us it was a sellers market and it should sell quickly. Well six months went by and not one offer had been made. Our agent insisted it was priced right and had no idea why it hadn't sold or even generated interest. We decided to give Feng Shui a try.
Dr. West said that we needed to stir up or activate the area directly in front of the house. He said we needed movement and suggested placing a windmill or similar thing near the front walkway leading to the front door.
Our agent sheepishly pounded three large daisy-like windmills picked up from the local home improvement center. He too was willing to try just about anything.
We had three offers in less than a week after taking Dr. West's advice. All three were solid and we received almost our full asking price. (This was in a buyers market.) We are convinced Dr. West's advice did the trick...and so is our agent!
